While services, and the system have continued to change around us, we have stayed the course and continue following our mission …to within community settings provide safe, supervised, comfortable environments, in which to teach, support, and empower adults with developmental disabilities to actualize their fullest potential. Commonsense Housing is continuing to hire compassionate, capable, competent, and compassionate staff to support the Members in our homes. We are seeking to enable certified DSP’s and CRMA’s (and are willing to train individuals new to this field) to do the work they love in an environment which they enjoy. We offer full time and “per-diem” positions at competitive wages presently $16.50 - $22.00, based upon years of service with CSH. We offer two (one at no cost to the employee) health insurance plans, a 403b retirement program, a noncontributory short and long term disability policy as well as a life insurance plan. We are currently offering up to (sliding) an $1,800 bonus if you come to work for us and already hold a CRMA and DSP Certificate. If you do not have a CRMA or DSP certificate we will train the right employee. In order to work at CSH you will need a high school diploma / GED and have (or obtain) a valid Main Driver's License. Offer of employment is contingent upon a background check.
